Energy Ministry recommends restraining diesel fuel prices

MOSCOW, Aug 22 (PRIME) -- The Energy Ministry has registered difficulties with fuel supplies to the southern regions due to high loading of railways in the tourist season, so it has recommended oil producers to restrain wholesale prices for diesel fuel in Russia’s agricultural regions, the authority said in a statement on Tuesday.

“The Energy Ministry together with the Agriculture Ministry have considered the problem issues of fuel supplies to agricultural producers at regional oil plants,” the statement read.
